MSP CAI

MSP Cold Air Intake

The factory intake (even the revised ones on 99s and newer) are very restrictive, and have little insulation.

MSP makes the BEST cold air intake for the '97 and newer Grand Prixs. Unlike most CAIs, this one uses a real K&N air filter and pulls cold fresh air in from 3 different locations.

In addition, they also have the best solution for the problem of how to mount the PCM when removing the factory

air box (Yes the PCM is inside the factory airbox).

Here are a few pictures of the intake.

Here is a picture with the factory airbox removed, one of the PCM tray, the tray in position, and finally in place with the PCM.

The tray for the air filter sits on top of the PCM tray. Here is a photo of the PCM and tray with the upper tray and filter in place.

This CAI also comes with DEI insulation for the tray and the duct hose which does a great job of keeping the incoming air as cool as possible.

Here is a photo that shows the 3 air intake positions:

1. Air from around headlight housing

2. Air over the headlight housing

3. Air from a large inlet in inner fender

Here is a dyno chart of one on a  97 GTP.

Here are a few finished shots. This CAI looks as good as it performs!
